The Teacher Education Office (TEO) is committed to supporting
UBC’s Sustainability Plan in every way we can.
Recent ecological improvements we’ve made include:
- Paperless production of publications created and distributed on cd format and/or posted on our website. For our School Advisors Guidelines cd alone, we save 28 trees per year!!
- Replacement of water cooler with water filter tap in TEO office
- Lights and power shut off at every opportunity
- Double-sided photocopying when copying is necessary
- Limited printing of emails to paper
- Archival of information on electronic storage systems
- Sorting and recycling garbage
UBC earns top sustainability marks in Canada; places third overall in North America.
