How to Apply Registration Graduation Teacher Classification
Graduation

You have completed your Certificate or Diploma when:

Certificate Completion (15 credits)

  1. When you have successfully completed your 15-credit Certificate program, you may apply for a certificate by applying to the particular department that offered the program. If it is a certificate program offered through External Programs and Learning Technologies, you may contact them for information.
  2. Certificates require payment of a $25.00 fee (cash or money order) to the Department offering the certificate.

Diploma Completion (30 credits)

  1. You will have consulted with a Program Coordinator to confirm successful completion of 30 credits of your Diploma program.
  2. You may apply to graduate through the UBC online graduation system through your Campus Wide Login.
  3. For complete details on how to apply to graduate through UBC Student Services, visit Student Services.
  4. Applications to graduate must be made by February 1 to graduate in May, or by August 15 to graduate in November.
  5. Diploma in Education graduates are invited to attend convocation in the Chan Centre in May or November. Full details are posted on UBC’s Graduation site.

The Canadian Association for School Health and its partners in the Canadian School Health Knowledge Network are pleased to launch a series of webinars on comprehensive school health (CSH) and health promoting schools (HPS).
UBC Vancouver Senate approves a special Reading Week extension in 2010. UBC Vancouver campus students will receive a mid-term break extension during Term 2 in 2010 to two weeks instead of the usual one week.
The 2009/2010 Reading Break will be held Mon, Feb 15 - Fri, Feb 26, 2010.
*Note: Does not apply to Secondary BEd teacher candidates on extended practicum at that time, and who need to follow the break schedules as set out by their school districts.
