Below is a list of resources to answer common questions.
All the links take you to a website outside of Teacher Education.

1. Are there scholarships available for International Studies to study their Bachelor of Education at UBC?

Yes, the Faculty of Education, beginning in September 2009, has funds available as a tuition subsidy for International Students: $5,000 CDN for 12-month BEd program students, and $8,000 (CDN) over two years for the 2-year BEd program students. For more information, please contact Gary Rupert, at the Teacher Education Office.

2. How do I find housing suitable for my needs?

3. What are my Transportation options for getting to and from UBC?

4. How do I attain a Study Permit?

housingDownload the Application Kit from the Canadian government's Citizenship and Immigration Canada site.

5. What are the available Resources for UBC’s international students?

6. How do I get to know UBC campus? And where is TEO?

Late applications submitted after deadline until April 30, 2010 considered based on available program spaces.

The Canadian Association for School Health and its partners in the Canadian School Health Knowledge Network are pleased to launch a series of webinars on comprehensive school health (CSH) and health promoting schools (HPS).
UBC Vancouver Senate approves a special Reading Week extension in 2010. UBC Vancouver campus students will receive a mid-term break extension during Term 2 in 2010 to two weeks instead of the usual one week.
The 2009/2010 Reading Break will be held Mon, Feb 15 - Fri, Feb 26, 2010.
*Note: Does not apply to Secondary BEd teacher candidates on extended practicum at that time, and who need to follow the break schedules as set out by their school districts.
