Transfer of Credits

Only
courses that are conceptually consistent with the Diploma specialization
will be applied to the Diploma. |

A
maximum of 18 UBC credits of appropriate coursework, completed
prior to enrolling in the Diploma and not credited towards another
degree or diploma, may be advanced towards the requirements
of the Diploma. |

| |
A
maximum of 12 credits of appropriate courses may be transferred
from other universities towards the requirements of the Diploma
in Education. If you are given permission to include a course/s
taken prior to entry into the Diploma in Education, the five-year
time limitation begins from the date of commencement of the
course/s. |

| |
If
you choose to take a course from another university, you need
approval from your Diploma Department Advisor and a Program
Coordinator: Student Services in the Teacher Education Office
before registering in the course. A Letter of Permission (L.O.P.)
will be issued to enable you to take the course/s for transfer
credit. Upon completion of the course, it is your responsibility
to send an official transcript to the Teacher Education Office
in the Faculty of Education at UBC. |
