Orientation

At the beginning of the BEd program, the Faculty of Education arranges a program orientation to welcome newly admitted teacher candidates.

Orientation welcome

The TEO welcomes all new and returning students to the Bachelor of Education program every September.

All teacher candidates are expected to attend their specifically designed orientation activities which include a general orientation for all BEd program options. This session will outline important information regarding expectations, assistance available to teacher candidates while in the program, and an introduction to the Education Students' Association (ESA).

As well, teacher candidates attend program option specific sessions facilitated by their cohort coordinators.

Attendance is mandatory and teacher candidates
must plan to attend for the full day on the program
start date, as indicated in each program option.
