The Teacher Education Office administers and implements the teacher education programs: Bachelor of Education,
Diplomas and Teacher Updating.

The staff works with department heads, instructional faculty, university administration, school districts, school administrators and classroom teachers to coordinate the programs.

Program Coordinators advise on programs, assist with program changes, provide course options, and generally act as student advocates.

Teacher Education Office is responsible for the following:

  • program advising
  • practica placements
  • admissions
  • instructional support.

Practicum Coordinators arrange school placements and monitor all aspects of the practicum experience.

Admissions Officers provide pre-admission advising, evaluate applications and documents, and admit qualified applicants to the teacher education programs.
