At the beginning of every BEd program start (July or September), the Faculty of Education arranges a program orientation to welcome newly admitted teacher candidates. All teacher candidates are expected to attend their specifically designed orientation activities which include a General Orientation where the audience is all BEd program options together. This session will outline important information regarding expectations, assistance available to teacher candidates while in the program, and an introduction to the Education Students Association.
As well, teacher candidates attend program option specific sessions facilitated by their cohort coordinators.
Attendance is mandatory, and teacher candidates must plan to attend for the full day on the program start date as indicated on program Dates posted on this website on each Teacher Education Program option.
