The Teacher Education Office (TEO) administers and implements the Bachelor of Education (BEd), diplomas and certificates, and teacher updating.
The staff works with department heads, instructional faculty, university administration, school districts, school administrators and classroom teachers to coordinate the programs. Program coordinators advise on programs, assist with program changes, provide course options, and generally act as student advocates. Practicum coordinators arrange school placements and monitor all aspects of the practicum experience. Admissions officers provide advising, evaluate applications and documents, and admit qualified applicants to the teacher education programs.
